Our Art curriculum takes pupils on a creative journey that develops their technical skills, visual awareness, independent thinking and knowledge about art and the world around them. Through studying art and design, our students learn to view the world with curiosity, to question what they see, and to communicate their own ideas with confidence and creativity.
At KS3, pupils are introduced to a diverse range of artists and designers, broadening their understanding of different cultural perspectives and providing inspiration for their own practice. Throughout the course, they will build mastery across a range of materials and techniques, developing the ability to refine ideas and demonstrate clear creative progression.
