We place great importance on regular attendance and punctuality, as every day in school plays an important part of a pupil’s learning and development. Being in school helps young people to build confidence, make progress, and feel connected to school life.
To promote regular attendance, each pupil with 100% attendance at the end of each half term is entered into a prize draw to win a gift voucher. Students with 100% attendance at the end of the year are taken on a school trip to celebrate their efforts.
It is every child’s right to access education in the UK and it is a parent’s legal duty to ensure that their child attends school regularly and on time.
